Hey everyone, Garrett here. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our very first episode of the GuideTech podcast. It was an incredible journey just getting to this point, and having the chance to share it with all of you is something I’m truly grateful for.

In this episode, Logan and I dove deep into the origins of GuideTech and Mallard Bay, sharing our personal stories and the challenges we faced along the way. It’s been a wild ride from Logan’s disappointing duck hunt that sparked the idea for Mallard Bay to the evolution of GuideTech as a comprehensive solution for outfitters. Our mission has always been to grow our community by bringing technology and innovation to the traditional hunting and fishing industry, and this podcast is a testament to that commitment.

We also discussed the importance of adapting to change and embracing new technologies. It’s something many in our industry are hesitant about, but as we shared, it’s crucial for growth and efficiency. I shared a story about cutting the ends off a ham, a metaphor for unnecessary traditions that hold us back, to illustrate this point.

Our goal with this podcast is not just to talk about ourselves or our products, but to provide valuable insights, tips, and advice that can help you, our fellow outfitters and enthusiasts, navigate the complexities of modern business practices. We’re here to support the community we love and to help it thrive in today’s digital world.

I’m excited for the journey ahead and the conversations we’ll have. Your feedback and suggestions are incredibly valuable to us, so please, don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know what topics you’d like us to cover in future episodes.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Here’s to many more episodes and to growing together as a community.

Stay tuned, and remember, change is growth.
